Berks History Center’s Museum

Discover the essential stories of Berks County: from its native and immigrant roots to its agricultural and industrial legacy at the Berks History Center’s Museum.

The beautifully ornate folk art and lifeways of Pennsylvania’s Americana Region come to life in over a dozen carefully curated galleries and exhibits featuring the diverse community and industrious past of Berks County. 

The Berks History Center’s Museum building is located at 940 Centre Ave. Off-street parking is available across the street at 160 Spring Street next to the research library.

Wednesday through Saturday – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Museum Admission Prices for Non-Members

  • Ages 18-64 – $7
  • Senior Citizens 65+ (with proof of age) – $5
  • Children 4-17 – $4

Berks History Center has reopened three new galleries to the public. The Pennsylvania German Room and the Model Room featuring clocks and furniture from the estate of John J. Snyder, Jr. The Trades to Industry Room has also been completely renovated with new displays focused on agriculture, food, textiles, and iron.
