Join Charlie Adams and the Berks History Center on this exciting excursion to Staten Island!
During this one-day bus trip, participants will tour Staten Island’s Richmond Town and explore historic structures, homes, businesses and farms through 100 acres of breathtaking parkland.
The trip includes a delicious box lunch at the picnic grounds, offering a choice of wrap (ham, turkey or roast beef), fruit, chips, dessert and beverage.
Finally, participants will receive a guided tour of The National Lighthouse Museum, where they will learn about the history and technology of the nation’s lighthouses. This includes exhibits Beacons Through Time, Supplying the Nation’s Lighthouses: The General Depot, Optics: Projecting the Light, Life at the Light: Lighthouse Keepers and much more!
The cost of the trip is $135/person for BHC members and $145/person for non-members.
