Historian Michelle Lynch leads a moderate 3+ mile walk along Spangsville Road in Oley while sharing the history of Oley churches, the Oley Forge, artist Frederick Spang, the Oley Turnpike, two covered bridges, Yoder genealogy and more.
Participants are asked to please meet in the parking lot at Salem UCC, located at 307 Covered Bridge Road in Oley, at 9:45 AM. This is a moderate walk on roads and will last approximately two hours.
Tickets are $5 for BHC members and $8 for non-members and can be purchased by calling the Berks History Center at 610-375-4375 from Wednesday to Saturday, 9 AM- 3PM. Pre-payment is required.
