Join BHC Museum Curator, Amber Vroman, for a very special Printmaking Workshop celebrating Reading’s 275th Anniversary. Participants will be carving a design into the surface of linoleum and transfer it onto paper with a hand printing process. The featured design for this workshop is inspired by the Reading Pagoda, the city’s most cherished and iconic landmark. These prints make wonderful gifts and greeting cards. All experience levels are welcome!
Not quite sure what Printmaking is? Watch the video below to learn more about this fun artistic process.
Tickets are $30 for BHC members and $35 for non-members and can be purchased by calling the Berks History Center at 610-375-4375 from Wednesday to Saturday, 9 AM – 3 PM. Spaces for this event are limited. Prepayment is required. The purchase price includes all supplies and light refreshments.
