Join us for this one-of-a-kind BHC member event honoring the life and works of Dr. William A. Haman!
On Friday, April 1, 2022 at 6 PM and Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 5 PM, renowned Berks County historian George M. Meiser, IX will present on the fascinating history and photographic mastery of Reading’s Dr. William A. Haman (1861-1942), whose glass plate negatives and glass lantern slides show daily life in Berks County and beyond during the late 1800s.
Following the presentation, guests will be the first to sneak a peek at the new BHC Exhibition, A Snapshot in Time: The Photography Collection of Dr. William A. Haman.
This event is free and exclusive to BHC members. Space is limited and COVID guidelines will be enforced. Pre-registration is required. Reservations will be accepted by calling the Berks History Center at 610-375-4375. Reservations are first come, first serve.
A Snapshot in Time: The Photography Collection of Dr. William A. Haman will be open to the public on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 for a limited engagement.
