Education Curator Vicky Heffner teaches this clever post-Civil War craft utilizing scraps of fabric. Cloth yo-yos were traditionally sewn into bedspreads, table runners, vests, and, yes, Christmas trees for decoration during the holiday season! In the Berks History Center is a cloth yo-yo doll cherished and donated by long-time member Ruth Schaeffer.
