Closure and Cancellation Update – March 14, 2020

Dear Friends of the Berks History Center,

In support of the Governor’s decision to close all schools in Pennsylvania to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Berks History Center will close to the public after Saturday, March 14th.

Both our museum at 940 Centre Avenue and research library located in the Henry Janssen Library building at 160 Spring Street will remain closed for 2 weeks and plan to resume normal business hours beginning the week of March 30th.

During this time we will continue to share your Berks history digitally via our social media platforms and website. Follow @berkshistory and on facebook, instagram and twitter.

Additional changes may be on the horizon based upon the fluidity of the pandemic.  Please continue to check our website (berkshistory.org), FacebookTwitter, and Instagram for future updates.

We thank you for your patience, understanding, and support of the Berks History Center.  Most importantly, we hope that you are all able to stay healthy.

Sincerely,

Benjamin Neely

Executive Director
